airport lies 23 km outside of Ljubljana and is called Brnik,

The
railway station as well as the bus station is situated in the middle
of the town. To get train information you could call:

Directions:
From
Zagreb / Croatia:
Exit the motorway in the direction LJUBLJANA CENTRE. Turn left at
the Ljubljana sign and drive straight turn for approximately 1.5
km. Turn right at the traffic light in the CENTRE direction an then
left following the main street. Follow the sign HOTELI and turn
right at the main crossroad – you will come to Dalmtinova
Street. At the first traffic light on Dalmatinova Street turn right
– you will come to Miklošiceva Street. Grad hotel Union
is located on the right side of Miklošiceva Street.
From Venice (Benetke ), Trieste (Trst) / Italy:
Exit
the motorway in the direction LJUBLJANA ZAHOD (West) and turn right
at the first traffic light – you will come to Tržaska
Street. Drive straight along Tržaška Street and follow
the sign LJUBLJANA CENTRE for approximately 2.5 km. Turn left at
the direction MARIBOR, KRANJ and follow the sign HOTELI. Turn right
at the main crossroad and direction CENTRE – you will come
to Gosposvetska Street. Drive straight on Gosposvetska Street, follow
the sign HOTELI and drive sraight on , cross the main crosssroad
and continue straight on to Dalmatinova Street. At the first traffic
light on Dalmatinova Street, turn right – you will than come
to Miklošicena Street. Grand hotel Union is located on the
right side of the Miklošiceva Street.
From
Maribor, Graz / Austria:
Exit
the motorway at the LJUBLJANA CENTRE. Turn left at the traffic light
with direction CENTRE – you will come to Dunajska Street.
Keep going along Dunajska Street for approximately 2 km. Follow
the sign HOTELI and turn left at the main crossroad direction RAILWAY
and BUS station. Turn right at the first traffic light ( follow
the sign Grand hotel Union and Holiday Inn)- you will come to Miklošiceva
Street. Drive straight on Miklošiceva Street for approximately
400 m, until the end of Miklošiceva Street. Grand hotel Union
is located on the right side of Miklošiceva Street.
From Klagenfurt/Austria and from Airport:
Motorway
639 from Kranj leads directly into Ljubljana. Turn light at traffic
light- direction LJUBLJANA CENTRE – and carry on main road
Celovška Road for approximately 5.5 km. Drive straight on Gosposvedska
Street continue ( straight on ) to Dalmatinova Street. At the first
traffic ligft on Dalmatinova Street turn right-you will come to
Miklošiceva Street. Grand hotel Union is located on the right
side of the Miklošiceva Street.
