Climate Talk is a platform for experts to discuss the current political, legal and economic issues surrounding climate protection. The series of events is organised by Dr. Camilla Bausch from Ecologic and PD Dr. Lutz Mez from the FFU: Environmental Policy Research Centre of the Freie Universität Berlin in co-operation with Dr. Hans-Joachim Ziesing.
Climate Talk offers participants the opportunity to exchange information and opinions regardless of professional interests or public opinion and to discuss possible solutions. In particular, the EU emissions trading system and the Flexible Mechanisms of the Kyoto Protocol (Clean Development Mechanism, Joint Implementation, Emissions Trade) should be central in the discussions. Short presentations are given to prepare the ground for the discussion.
Selected experts from ministries and agencies, business establishments, associations, unions, NGOs, law firms, consultancies and academia are invited.
